New Month- New Challenge!!!!
Ok, so we are in a new month on Tuesday. Are you ready?
March is here and I am still trying to figure out where January and February went.
SO.........What does that mean?
Well......
You have 1 1/2 months until your taxes are due.
You have 4 weeks til Easter.
You have 2 1/2 months until Mother's Day.
You have 3 1/2 months until Father's Day.
You have 3-3 1/2 months before the kids get out of school.
You have 3 1/2 months before it's time for SUMMER VACATION!!!!!
Are you ready? I can assure you I am and I'm NOT!!!!
How are you doing on your New Years Resolution?
Are you ready for trips to the beach?
Well, I'm NOT! I haven't made my goal. I am not there yet. I am working like crazy but it just hasn't happened yet. Maybe my goal in unrealistic but I don't think so. The scale is not something I am concerned with. What I am concerned with is my clothes, the measurements and how I feel. So, let's talk about that part.
1-My clothes- I have clothes that I love to wear. Those favorite jeans. Those favorite workout clothes. Those favorite shirts. What about my uniforms for work? Smaller pants and now they are droopy and my shirts are loose....... WINNING!
2- Measurements- They are decreasing in some places and increasing in others. I put on a T-Shirt the other day. One of those that you get for free for doing something. They always run small. Well, it fit but the arms were small. Biceps and Triceps are growing. Waste is shrinking. Things are firming that were jiggling......WINNING!
3- Feeling- I feel AWESOME!!!!! I have made up my mind NOT to allow the scale to determine what I do and how I feel. Yes, it is important! Yes, there is a medical reason that some must be concerned with it. Yes, in the beginning it is VERY important. I weigh once a week right now because of a "Biggest Loser" competition that we have a work. No, it hasn't changed but I'm good with it. I see the other changes.......WINNING!
Bottom line......Where are you at? Are you to busy beating yourself up over a number on the scale? Are you so upset that you haven't seen change so you quit? STOP and think.
1- Am I working out 5-7 days a week?
2- Is my nutrition dialed in?
3- Am I planning my week or flying by the seat of my pants?
4- Do I have accountability with friends or family that are going to encourage me and pick me up when I fall flat?
Time to do some soul searching. Figure out the answers to these 4 questions and contact me ASAP and we can get together and get you ready for SUMMER!!!!!!
Let's March into March ready to go!!!!!!
