Gallon of Water Challenge!

So, one of the Facebook Groups (Here) that I follow is just wonderful and Ashley has made a challenge.  If you know me, I am all about a challenge.  Challenge of 4 days of 1 Gallon of water per day.  Doesn't sound that hard.  I drink a lot of water!???  Right????  Well we will see since I have now jumped in on this one!  I'm really excited about it.

Let's break it down......
1 Gallon = 16 cups = 6.4 bottles of water (20oz) = 4 Sports Bottles (32oz)
When you break it down that way, it seems do-able!!!!!!!

How much water do you drink in a day?  Have you really thought about it?  Today has really made me stop and think about my water intake.

LUNCH!!!!!!


So I went and ran this morning right after I dropped Kaleb off at school.  Came home and had breakfast and got so many things accomplished.  It felt so good!!!!!  My parents just came home from San Francisco.  They brought me a loaf of Cracked Wheat Sourdough bread!  I am in LOVE!!!!!  So here is what I had for lunch.  Super filling and wonderful!!!!!

Hot Chicken Salad

One slice of bread
1 small poached chicken breast (any left over chicken will work or even tuna)
Pickle relish as you like
4 diced peperoncini's diced
1 tbs. of mayo of choice.
1 thin slice of cheese (I used cheddar)

Combine chicken, relish, peperoncini's, and mayo together.  Spoon over bread and slice cheese into skinny rectangles and lay across chicken mixture.  Place under the broiler until cheese is hot and melting.
DEVOUR!!!!!!

You can use less mayo depending how much you need just to hold the mixture together.

RUNNING!

Well, running has been added into the mix.  I'm totally excited about running again.  I ran a 5K the other weekend with the humidity being so bad I was sweating buckets before the race even started!

Do you run?
What distance?
How many days a week?
5K?, Half Marathon? Full Marathon?
Run outside, road, trail, treadmill?

I have set a goal!!!!!  Rock N Roll Half Marathon Virginia Beach 2015.  I really want to just "kill it" so to speak.  I know I will be another year older but I refuse to let that stop me from trying!!!!

To start really getting ready, I am hoping to be running a 5K attached to a Rock N Roll Half Marathon in DC in March!  I have a goal in my head but not ready to share that one yet!!!! HAHAHAH!!!!!

Just curious how many runners are out there??????

Time To Get Back To It!

WHERE IN THE WORLD HAVE YOU BEEN????  That maybe what you are asking!!!  I'm here but LIFE has happened!  BUSY! BUSY! BUSY!  I had about 2 months without a Challenge Group and thought I would go back in a hole!  I was absolutely NO GOOD without one!  If you have never had a Challenge Group.....GET ONE!!!!!


Currently in a 60 day Group and loving every minute of it.  At the same time, I have rediscovered my love for running!!!!!!  Thanks to Hubby who signed me up for a 5 K when I had not run for a race in over a year, the week before the race!  It was so humid that day!!!!  I was pouring sweat before I ever even started!  I finished!  I am now ready for MORE!!!!  

Challenge Group at present, I am doing Les Mills COMBAT with some P90X included!  It is so much fun!  There is no boardem here!  I LOVE IT!!!!  The weather if finally calming down a bit so I am hitting the road about 3 days a week and that is just going to be great!
