New Month- New Challenge!!!!
Ok, so we are in a new month on Tuesday. Are you ready?
March is here and I am still trying to figure out where January and February went.
SO.........What does that mean?
Well......
You have 1 1/2 months until your taxes are due.
You have 4 weeks til Easter.
You have 2 1/2 months until Mother's Day.
You have 3 1/2 months until Father's Day.
You have 3-3 1/2 months before the kids get out of school.
You have 3 1/2 months before it's time for SUMMER VACATION!!!!!
Are you ready? I can assure you I am and I'm NOT!!!!
How are you doing on your New Years Resolution?
Are you ready for trips to the beach?
Well, I'm NOT! I haven't made my goal. I am not there yet. I am working like crazy but it just hasn't happened yet. Maybe my goal in unrealistic but I don't think so. The scale is not something I am concerned with. What I am concerned with is my clothes, the measurements and how I feel. So, let's talk about that part.
1-My clothes- I have clothes that I love to wear. Those favorite jeans. Those favorite workout clothes. Those favorite shirts. What about my uniforms for work? Smaller pants and now they are droopy and my shirts are loose....... WINNING!
2- Measurements- They are decreasing in some places and increasing in others. I put on a T-Shirt the other day. One of those that you get for free for doing something. They always run small. Well, it fit but the arms were small. Biceps and Triceps are growing. Waste is shrinking. Things are firming that were jiggling......WINNING!
3- Feeling- I feel AWESOME!!!!! I have made up my mind NOT to allow the scale to determine what I do and how I feel. Yes, it is important! Yes, there is a medical reason that some must be concerned with it. Yes, in the beginning it is VERY important. I weigh once a week right now because of a "Biggest Loser" competition that we have a work. No, it hasn't changed but I'm good with it. I see the other changes.......WINNING!
Bottom line......Where are you at? Are you to busy beating yourself up over a number on the scale? Are you so upset that you haven't seen change so you quit? STOP and think.
1- Am I working out 5-7 days a week?
2- Is my nutrition dialed in?
3- Am I planning my week or flying by the seat of my pants?
4- Do I have accountability with friends or family that are going to encourage me and pick me up when I fall flat?
Time to do some soul searching. Figure out the answers to these 4 questions and contact me ASAP and we can get together and get you ready for SUMMER!!!!!!
Let's March into March ready to go!!!!!!

Time For An Update
Hammer and Chisel- 30 Day Mark-
I have sweated!
I have thought that I can't go one more day!
I have rolled my eyes when Autumn and Sagi say ugly words like......
Pistol Squats
or
Bulgarian Split Squats
or
Get a Heavier Weight
BUT........
I am stronger
I have muscles
I have less jiggle in my arms
My abs are actually showing
I'm in the market for heavier weights
Double what I own
I actually look FORWARD to those ugly words
BRING ON THE NEXT 30 DAYS!!!!

Groups???
Groups?
Sounds like a secret society or a therapy gathering at times.
Groups- I run groups
Groups- Women Only
Groups- Men and Women
Groups- Water Drinking
Groups- Whole 30
Groups- Challenge
Groups- Valentines
Groups- 12 Days of Christmas
LOTS OF GROUPS!!!!!!!
I don't really have a favorite. I think if I had to narrow it down to my favorite......CHALLENGE GROUPS!!!!!! Why? This is where you spend anywhere from 21 days to 3 months with a specific group of people and you get to watch, encourage, laugh, joke, cry, scream, share and watch a transformation happen. Sometimes they loose "Mad-Weight" as Brian from Insanity says. Sometimes it is inches and the confidence level goes OFF THE CHART!!!!
It is amazing to see and to be a part of something so personal in someone else's life. People let down their guard and really share. It is just an incredible experience! If you have never been a part of one, I would love to have you in my next GROUP!!!! We have a LOT of fun and there might even be some prizes to go a long with it!!!!

Program?
Program? Sometimes I don't like that word. Sounds so...... I have no idea how to explain it!
I was trying to figure out a new word. I think I have chosen the word "Challenge"
We have many things that we could put under the word Program.
My first thoughts are......
21 Day Fix
21 Fix Extreme
T-25
Body Beast
P90X
P90X 2
P90X 3
Well you get the point. I think that if I view it as a program, that there is an end to it. You go to attend a "program" and it will have an end.
The Talent Program at school has an end.
The Church Program has an end.
The Excellence Program at work has an end.
BUT if I view my health and wellness as a Challenge, there really isn't an end. Even those that have finally reached their goal, whatever that maybe, will still be after a Challenge to see how far they can go or how much more they can accomplish. It really changes your attitude and how you view whatever it is that you are doing.
Set your Goal
Reach it
See what the next CHALLENGE can be.

My current Challenge is The Master's Hammer and Chisel. It is pushing me beyond anything I ever thought I could do. I absolutely LOVE it!!!! I haven't done the same workout yet and I'm in my 2nd week. THERE IS NO PROGRAM HERE!!!!! Need a Challenge in your Fitness Journey????? Let me know!!!!!!!
