2 Days In-

I am writing this post on Tuesday night.  I am going to write and share about this journey just like I said I would when I posted about drawing a line in the sand.

Monday was Day 1.  The excitement and nervousness and waking up super early because I was so afraid I would over sleep.  I hit the basement ready to “DO THIS”.  I had ONE goal in mind.  DO NOT QUIT or GIVE UP!  I went in with a ton of determination to do it!  I made it through Monday and I thought I would literally throw up.  I worked so hard and pushed like I haven’t in a LONG TIME!  Apple Watch was going crazy half way through because I had already met my “Exercise Goal”.  All I could do was laugh. I didn’t know that this 50+ year old body could push that hard but I DID!

Day 2- I had an idea now of what I was heading into.  I knew how he instructed and I was pumped up and ready.  My arms and my shoulders are so sore and today was leg day.  My legs are the strongest part of me so I was ready...... at least that is what I thought.  However, I was super glad that I had an introduction into using the sliders and the loops when I did Autumn Calabrese 80 Day Obsession.  Today was literally NO JOKE!  I’m so sore but so excited about this journey.  I may not be able to walk tomorrow and grateful I don’t have stairs at work.

I’ll journal through the rest of the week.  Hope you follow along on this journey!  Better yet, instead of just FOLLOWING......why don’t you JOIN ME!!!!!!  The application is to the right- fill it out and let’s have a conversation.  Conversation DOES NOT equal a commitment.
JUST INFORMATION!!!!

New Phase!

Yes, this pictures describes my week!
SORE!!!
It was the first week of a new Phase.  It was really interesting.
We had a lot of the same exercises BUT they were combined with other exercises.
We had a lot of the same exercises BUT we used a heavier weight or heavier resistance loop.
We had the same WONDERFUL trip to the Zoo BUT we add 2 extra reps to every exercise with every round.
We had a lot of the same BUT there was a lot of changes.  We had plenty of muscle confusion.  We had plenty of sore muscles!!!  It was absolutely amazing.

There is something about this program that I find very hard to explain.  It has not only changed my body but my brain, my emotions, and even my confidence.  I find myself feeling better about who I am and how I look.  I am confident in the food I have chosen to eat and trusting 100% the PROCESS!!  It’s so worth it!!!!

According to the calculations, I was able to move up a plan for eating.  Eating in Plan B at the beginning and now finding myself eating in Plan C, I admit I was a little FREAKED OUT but I have settled in and I have also found myself trusting the process more and more and more!!!!

This week we will take the adventure into a Refeed Day.  It’s very different and I actually get BROWNIES on WEDNESDAY!!!!!!  I am so excited about it!  I will share more about Refeed Day and the reasoning behind it.

I would love to have you join us! If you would like to join us, please check out the tabs to the right!!!
Click one and just simply complete it and I will get in touch with you!!!!  Do not miss out on this INCREDIBLE JOURNEY!!!!!!

Hammer and Chisel Update!!!

I'm in the midst of doing Hammer and Chisel.
I'm in week 4!!!
This is my second round of this program.
Confession-------First time that I did this program it was a TOTAL struggle!  I missed workouts and now that I look back I realized that I wasn't PUSHING!  I'm in this program 110% and PUSHING like never before.
I mean, I am pushing with more weight
I am not stopping because the move is uncomfortable.
I am focusing on form like crazy.
It has really changed ME!

I'm super excited!
I hope you will stick around and follow along!!!!!

Post H&C

SOOOOOO- I finished Hammer and Chisel.  I have to be honest.....it took me a while to process exactly what all I learned, what I can do now that I couldn't do before, what I would do different when I tackle it for Round 2.  So let's do this....
First-
What did I learn?

  • I had no upper arm strength.(I'm talking 5 pounds)
  • Autumn and Sagi are AWESOME  Trainers! (21 Day Fix Trainer and Body Beast Trainer)
  • I had no endurance when there was a weight in my hand
  • I like to preview before actually doing the DVD/BOD that morning
What can I do now that I couldn't before?
  • I started out with 5 pound weights and ended with 15 pound weights
  • I can do more push ups
  • I can do more arm work than I EVER thought possible
  • I have balance
  • I have agility
  • I can do whatever I set my mind to.
  • I have one body and it's up to me to take care of it
  • I experienced Power Lifting Moves that I had never done and LOVED IT!
  • I can wear a tank-top.
What will I do different next time?
  • I would either get a bench or borrow one.
  • I would be brave an PUSH harder
  • I would also INVITE A LOT more people to join me because WOMEN CAN LIFT!!!!

This is a game-changer! If you want to increase your strength, lean up and get in the best shape of your life!!!!!  It was absolutely AWESOME!!!!  I'm looking forward to the next place I have 60 days to jump on and do it again!!!!!!!
