Feed Yourself!

So the other day I wrote about my revelation looking at the Ration Guide for the 22 Minute Hard Corps program that I was doing and realizing that the reason I wasn't loosing weight like I thought was that I thought I had it figured out!  I had done 3 rounds of 21 Day Fix Extreme and thought that I had a good grasp on how much I should be eating.  WRONG!!!!!!
Tonight we had a balanced dinner.  We had baked chicken, green beans and sweet potatoes.  I thought I would just see how far off I was.  Let's just say, if you don't have this little magic containers.......YOU NEED TO GET THEM!!!!!!  They are GAME CHANGERS!
Order Here
So, let me just show you what this does for you........
When you don't feed your body, your body will go into "Starvation Mode" and your metabolism is so much slower which leads to not burning the calories!
Here is what I was eating at lunch/dinner.
Looks appropriate right?  I would eat this at lunch and think I was being really good.  I had my carb (yellow), my protein (red), and my veggies (green).  Of course with plenty of water.  So, after reading the Ration Book from 22 Minute Hard Corps, I did my research.

My immediate thought was....I'm not that far off!.......... WRONG!!!!!!  LOOK AT THIS!!!!!!
HOLY SMOKES!!!!  I was BLOWN AWAY!!!!  Here is the key to doing a program and getting the absolute best results possible!  I don't care if you have used those containers through 1 program or 100 programs, USE THE CONTAINERS!!!!!   Don't cheat yourself!!!!!!!  I'm heading into ROUND 2 after HELL WEEK next week.  Containers will be a MUST!!!!!
 How about you?
Do you need some help with using containers or even just getting some?

Let me help you!!!

Blessings,
Coach Pam

FOODIE FRIDAY!!!!

Welcome to FOODIE FRIDAY!!!!!
Don't UNDO all of your hard work this week during this holiday!!!!!  Here are some AWESOME ideas for your cookouts and pool parties!!!!!!

Pulled Chipolte Chicken with Slaw
This pulled chicken recipe is smothered in an adobo and chipotle-spiked barbecue sauce, and served with a refreshing cilantro slaw to add creaminess and texture. Canned chipotle peppers in adobo sauce can be found in many grocery stores and ethnic markets, but if your store doesn’t carry them, you can add spice to the sauce with cayenne or chipotle powder, or leave it out and enjoy simple, delicious barbecue chicken. Want to add more kick? Mix a little finely chopped jalapeƱo to the slaw. Enjoy this chicken and slaw combo as it is, or use it to stuff corn tortillas, or make an open-faced sandwich.

Mind Blown!!!!!

Ok, so I was sitting and reading the other day.  Kaleb was at the dentist and for whatever reason, I had thrown in the "Rations for Results Nutrition Field Guide" from my 22 Minute Hard Corps. I actually have no clue as to why I even put it in my bag.  Anyway, I was reading through it.  Now don't get me wrong, I had "looked" at it when I got the program 8 WEEKS ago!  Sitting in the dentist office I felt like those new commercial "Mind Blown" and the purple smoke was surrounding my head.
Let me say this first.
Yes, I have been running and working out for a LONG TIME!
Yes, I eat 85/15
Yes, I have been vegetarian
Yes, I am a Beachbody Coach to help other people!

Secondly.....
I'm stuck on a plateau
I haven't lost any weight in my 8 weeks
I watch what I eat.
I drink my water
BUT SOMETHING WAS NOT WORKING!!!!!!!

HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED!!!!!
PAGE 21 CHANGED ME!!!!!
This is the quote.....
" Changing your Ration Plan...........The most likely solution is to increase calories by bumping up to the next Ration Plan.  The reason for this is twofold.  First, as fitness increases the metabolism also increases.  Added calories may be needed to fuel performance.  second, when the body is fed insufficient calories in a stress setting (during a demanding exercise program, for example), the metabolism may slow down to preserve energy, resulting in decreased performance and slowed results."

So I read this and I almost dropped the book.  I went back and reviewed the "Containers" that I was supposed to be using.  I had used them so much that I THOUGHT I HAD IT FIGURED OUT!  Guess what.......I DON'T!!!!!!!!  It's time to get them out!  Use them!  I preach it all the time!
I'm the Coach!

Next week is HELL Week for me!  It's time for a revamp and using those awesome little containers!!!!!
THIS body WILL be made in the KITCHEN!!!!!!
Is it time for you to revamp and look at what you are eating and how much you are eating?
I would love to share more with you!

Blessings,
Coach Pam

THANK YOU TEXT MESSAGE

Thank You
Simple Words
2 Words
They can change your entire day!
I have worked in the medical world for over 25 years.  I have a respect for doctors.  I can't imagine going to college, then to medical school followed by residency programs and fellowships and the endless hours of study and work.  I respect them.  Do I understand what all they do? Absolutely not!  I don't question them about why they do what they do.  I respect them.  Some may say that I probably take that a little to far.  When I am at work with any physician I will NOT sit in their chair.  I know that is silly to most but it's not mine to sit in.  When I worked in an office, you would NEVER see me sitting in their chair.  I would never look for things in or on their desk unless I was asked to go and look for something.  I always will answer with "Yes Sir" or "Yes Ma'am".  That is the way I was taught and therefore, that is the way that I am.
There are some physicians that can be a challenge at times.  They can be short with you in their answers. They can even go so far as to ignore you. Some even make it a game to see if they can hang up before you.  There are some that you can joke around with and there are some that you try to leave alone because there mind is focused on their work.  One thing remains.  They are just like you and me. They are human and as the old saying goes....."They put on their pants one leg at a time just like you and me".
Why in the world would I say all of this?  What is the point Pam?  Here's my point.  Last week we had a patient that is in a GREAT deal of pain.  She had had 2 procedures in our department and she was no better.  I was her contact in the department.  She called and then the physician texted me.  We had to do something for her.  I made calls to several offices.  I called her daughter. I talked to the patient 3 times.  I was texting with the physician, who by the way was off  for several days in a row but he was working via texting.  After about an hour of phone calls and texting, we had an appointment for the patient the next morning.  Here's the clicker......The last text that I received from the physician was "Great & Thank you for all you do".  WOW!!!!!  I didn't see that one coming!  I was just doing my job. That text message from this particular physician changed my whole attitude for the rest of the week.  I may screen shot it and print it to hang in my office. (No, I'm just kidding!)
This week, my challenge for you is to tell someone "THANK YOU!"  I would actually even say you can text message them.  Just tell someone thank you.  It's 2 simple words that can change EVERYONE'S day!!!!!    You just might be shocked!!  Give it a try and let me know what happens!!

Blessings,
Coach Pam

ALMOST!!!!!

Hello!!!!!!

22 Minute Hard Corps Check In Time!!!

Well, I have one week and Hell Week left to do with 22 Minute Hard Corps.  I will confess that at first I thought I had really bitten off way to much.  At this point, I can't believe I am going to say this, but I think I am going to miss it!
I have pushed
I have lifted
I have burpee-ed
I have Frong Burpee-ed
I have California Rolled
I have Bear Crawled
I have Mountain Squated
I have PUSHED more than ever before!!!!

I will also admit that I have a complete and new admiration for those Veterans.  Not just the ones in the videos but those who serve and have served.
Every time that I think of stopping.
Every time I think of picking up the 5 pound weight instead of the 10 pound.
Every time I think I will skip the Burn Out Round I always consider those Vets and the ones that are still serving.
I'm not only cheating myself but I remember that they don't have a choice to lift lighter or skip this or that.
I hope you will follow along with me in the next 2 weeks and see how this finishes out!

Blessings To You,
Coach Pam
