Thanksgiving!

THANKSGIVING 2016

Well, it was wonderful!!!!  We had probably the quietest ever!!!!  We literally came home Wednesday evening and said we were NOT leaving to go anywhere on Thursday.  That was exactly what we did!!!!
We had a great lunch!  I had only bought a turkey breast breast and put it in the bag to cook in the oven.  An hour into cooking I thought I would check on it.  Good thing I did.  Bag had touched the heating element and it was a mess!!!!  I had to dump everything into the roasting pan and cover with foil.  I was so upset.  No pretty turkey picture this year!!!!  Oh well, it was actually a WONDERFUL turkey!  So good!!!!!!
We slept in and that was INCREDIBLE!
We cooked!
We napped!
We ate!
We enjoyed our day!
It was GREAT!
My parents were on the road and in all the traffic.  My oldest was stuck in Atlanta trying to get to NC. Everyone made it to their destination and I was so relieved!!!!  My parents finally got to meet Paula. She is a wonderful young woman who has stolen my oldest heart!  I laughed and told my Daddy he had to behave.  Evidently I wasn't the only one because my Mom told him the same thing!!!!!

I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!!  Now it's time to change gears and get ready for another wonderful time of family-friends-food and celebration!!!!  Are you ready?  I know we are!!!!!

Week 1- DONE!!!!!!

OH MY WORD!!!!!  That is the first thing I could think of.  I have worked some new moves this week that I had no idea existed.  I have done push-ups in ways that I never have even considered and I thought Shaun T was pretty intense with all the push-ups that I did in Insanity Max 30. Core De Force is FABULOUS!!!!

I have kicked

I have punched

I have elbowed

I have push-up-ed

I have learned about Mixed Martial Arts

I am sore in places I haven't been in a LONG time

I am just amazed and how when you change programs, the differences that come a long with it.  I have learned that you can NEVER  say....."It's just another program".  I'm here to tell you that they are ALL DIFFERENT!!!!!  Do not underestimate the changes!

It is SOOOOO worth it!!!!!!

Change up your routine!

Challenge yourself!

Push yourself!

YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!

NO COFFEE----SAY WHAT???

NO COFFEE!!!!!!

I have officially made it the last 6 days with ZERO COFFEE!!!!

If you know me at all I am one that is a Coffee Lover.  I love it hot or iced.  I have been drinking coffee for as long as I can remember.  I just love it!!

I was getting ready to start Core De Force (my new workout program) and I have joined a Team Spirit Group for Beachbody.  It has completely changed everything about my business but I digress, that is another post.

Anyway, one morning I had done my workout and was preparing my coffee and thinking about starting my program and the Lord spoke clearly- No coffee for 30 days.  I dropped the spoon!  OK...... I was almost in a state of panic but laughing at the same time.

I was listening to some other Team Calls about this program and made a decision.  I was ALL IN!  If that meant, no coffee, then so be it!!!!!!

I would use tea, honey and lemon.  That would be all I could use.

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday were AWFUL!  I literally thought I was coming down with the flu.  My body hurt.  I had no fever or other symptoms.  I was so sleepy I couldn't hold my eyes open.  I just wanted to go to bed.  I was in a mental fog that was the weirdest thing I had EVER experienced!

Thursday was 80% better and Friday was about 90% better.

It has been a real eye opener for me.  To realize I was that dependent on coffee and the sugar and creamer were amazing.  I also realized how many empty calories I was consuming.  You see, my coffee comes with 2 sugars (teaspoons) and 1 heaping teaspoon of creamer.  Remember I am consuming approx. 5-6 cups a day!!!!!!  50 CALORIES PER CUP!!!!  6 CUPS IN A DAY-----300 CALORIES!!!!!  ABSOLUTELY INSANE!!!!!!!

I am discovering all different types and flavors of teas that I am just LOVING!  I have some local honey and just a small squirt and this is a happy Lady!!!!!!

I love the SWEAT!
I love the trainers!
I love being able to stream it while I wait on my DVD's

What do I NOT like about it?
..........
..........
Hmmmmmmmm
NOTHING!
Absolutely NOTHING!!!!!!

I'm in a larger Challenge Group and it is so active and the accountability is so great!  Working out this morning was so empowering and then being able to share what I had done to encourage someone else! I want to encourage and motivate.  That is my GOAL!!!!

PUMPED UP--SERIOUSLY PUMPED!

This coming Monday, November 7th, I will start on a 30 Day journey.  It's different this time.  I'm in an accountability group, also known as a Challenge Group, and this time it's REALLY different!
I'm in a Group with not only my own Challengers but also numerous Coach Friends.  So, not only do the Challengers get my support but as Coaches we are there to keep each other totally accountable.  To be honest, I have NEVER been in a group like this!  I guess that is why the adrenaline is at an all time HIGH!!

This 30 days is different.  A week or so ago, I had a heart to heart conversation with my Coach.  It was a total revelation or Ah-ha moment if that is what you want to call it.  I realized after some soul searching and praying through some things that were going on with me that I needed to change.  I needed to step up to the plate.  I needed to push through. I need to get off my behind and just go for it with EVERYTHING I had.  Yes, I have done other programs. Yes, I have posted my pictures everyday. Yes, I meal prep. But where was my head?  Where was my heart? Was I really giving it EVERYTHING?  The answer was a resounding NO!!!!!  So why in the world am I sharing this with you?  Well, I'm sharing with you that I am REAL!  I struggle! I am not perfect and nor do I pretend to be.  I don't have it all together!  People have this idea that because I am a Beachbody Coach that I have it all figured out.  NEWSFLASH---I DO NOT!!!!

What's going to be different in this 30 days? Glad you asked!!!!

- Posting a SS every day!!!!!  (sweaty-selfie)
- Posting a picture of what I am eating everyday
- Posting about meal planning
- Encouraging everyone in my group
- Drink my Shakeology EVERY DAY!
- Take my Before and After Pictures and Measurements
- THIS IS THE BIG ONE------NO COFFEE FOR 30 DAYS!!!!

I will be Core De Force which is a new Beachbody program.  It's an MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) Program.
It uses NO EQUIPMENT!
No weights!
No bands!
No mat!
Nothing!!!!!!!!!
I'm so ready!
MONDAY NEEDS TO HURRY UP!!!!!!
